龙井八卦阵

By the West Lake in Hangzhou, there is a place called Longjing, which is not only famous for Longjing tea, but also has an ancient legend about the Eight Diagrams Array. According to legend, a long time ago, Longjing Village was shrouded in an inexplicable evil spirit, crops withered, villagers fell ill and their lives were in trouble. Lao Li, a wise man in the village, is proficient in the Book of Changes and Eight Diagrams, and decided to lay a Eight Diagrams Array to ward off evil spirits.

On the edge of Jing Quan, old Jae-ryong Lee, eight stone pillars were set up according to the eight diagrams. Each stone pillar was engraved with different divinatory symbols, and a strange stone collected from a deep mountain was embedded. As night fell, Lao Li held a gossip tray and murmured, guiding the villagers to rotate around the stone pillars, and finally formed a huge gossip figure. Suddenly, thunder roared in the sky, a flash of lightning hit the center of gossip, the evil spirit was completely dispelled, and Longjing Village recovered its former tranquility and prosperity. Since then, the Eight Diagrams Array in Longjing has become the patron saint in the hearts of villagers. In the spring tea picking season every year, the villagers will hold a blessing ceremony around the Eight Diagrams Pillar, thanking Lao Li for his shelter.
